Language of Contract

The language of the contract is english.

Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to all business relationships between:
Volker Schlecht - Trade in Pet Supplies (Brand Name Profeline) and their customers in the respective version valid at the time of contract conclusion.

Cancellation Policy

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Volker Schlecht Profeline, Hollandstr.10, 74081 Heilbronn, Tel .: 07131 2033840, Fax: 07131 2033841, E-Mail: info@profeline.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Prices

The prices on our website are displayed in EUR and include German VAT. For items sent to destinations within the European Union (EU), VAT must be calculated according to the different tax rates of the member states. For deliveries to other EU countries, German VAT is deducted and the applicable VAT rate for the destination country is calculated. The final price including the VAT rate applicable to the ordered items in the destination country will be displayed at the checkout.

The price does not include shipping costs, which are separately indicated.

We charge the German VAT as a lump sum for import duties, fees, and Swiss taxes.
No further costs are incurred upon delivery (delivery free of charge).

Delivery Service / Availability / Delivery Time

The obligation to deliver lapses if we ourselves are not properly and timely supplied and are not responsible for the lack of availability. In case of unavailability of the goods, we will inform you immediately and a prepayment will be refunded. In our shop, the delivery time is specified for each item. To fulfill your order to the best of our ability, Volker Schlecht / Profeline transmits address data, email address, and - if provided - the telephone number of customers to the commissioned parcel service provider. This transmission of data is an integral part of the contractual relationship with Volker Schlecht / Profeline. The customer has no right of choice or objection in this regard. Further information can be found in our privacy policy under 28.1. We combine your orders into one delivery. You will receive a shipping notification with your parcel number as soon as your order leaves our premises.

Warranty/Guarantee

The statutory warranty provisions apply.
If we provide special guarantees, this does not affect your statutory warranty claims.
Natural products (wood, sisal, fur, etc.) have their individual character. Deviations in grain, surface,
shape, color, size, etc. do not constitute a defect.

Final Provisions

(1) For the legal relationships between customers and Volker Schlecht  Trade in Pet Supplies (Brand Name Profeline), German law applies without reference to the provisions of private international law and excluding the UN Sales Convention (CISG). If the customer is a consumer, the law of the customer's place of residence may also apply if it concerns mandatory consumer protection provisions.

(2) If the customer is a merchant, Heilbronn is the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all claims arising in connection with the business relationship.

Profeline uses high-quality packaging materials.
We are also committed to environmental protection.
Our packaging consists to a very high degree of recycled paper. This is environmentally friendly.

German packaging regulations oblige us to ensure that the packaging we use is recycled after use.
To fulfill this requirement, we have commissioned a responsible disposal company.

Due to the battery regulation, we are obliged as a retailer to inform you that batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with normal household waste. You must dispose of batteries and accumulators free of charge through trade or specially designated collection points.
You can also alternatively return batteries and accumulators purchased from us to us.

Batteries and accumulators containing hazardous substances are marked with a crossed-out waste bin and one of the following chemical symbols: Cd for cadmium, Hg for mercury, Pb for lead.
