The cuddly cat - hanging cave for wall mounting offers protection and security - the cave is an ideal hideaway and simply perfect for a break in between.

This unique retreat is basically a chilly hammock in the shape of a cave - this gives your cat protection and security and gives a very special feel-good experience. With our AE1 cut-out plate the upper opening can be closed easily, if the opening is not needed as a way out and entrance on a climbing wall. The hanging cave can be attached to any wall in your home. The entrance of the cave can be moved variaben by the velcro straps. Position the entrance in such a way that your cat can easily climb in - possibly attach a stair step as an ascent or mount the hanging cave e.g. over a chest of drawers or sofa.

The easy-care cat cave is safely attached to the stable Multiplex wood module with 8 hook and loop straps. By this attachment the cave does not rock very strongly and lets also anxious cats gladly enter our cave. The padded removable mattress insert provides stability and comfort.

Tip: for a cat cave closed at the top, also order our round clip-on board (ZB601). This can be fixed on top of the hanging cave to make the cave experience perfect for your cat.

our recommendation: when buying a hanging cave, we recommend ordering a replacement cushion at the same time. The pillow can easily be removed for washing - but the replacement pillow gives the floor of the cave its usual additional stability.

The wood:
our platforms are crafted from high quality and flexible birch plywood and impregnated with oil wax. This finish gives the surfaces extensive resistance against moisture, as well as their robust and easy-care qualities. The visible wood grain and the decorative multiplex edges give the furniture an outstandingly stylish appearance. All wood edges are rounded, the surfaces are polished - excellent quality of craftsmanship, as you expect from sophisticated furniture.

The cover:
Profeline snuggle-cotton, with its woven back and the 8 mm open fibres, is brilliantly aligned with your cat’s requirements. The fabric is heat regulating and the high proportion of cotton prevents any static charge.
